First of all,it is about a dry type anti-backfire device,which is generally used in gas pipeline outside the machine. It is made of a nano metal flame retardant tube by using a special sintering method to ensure that the tube is filled with countless small holes, and each holes with a diameter of about 20um. As the oxyhydrogen flame can not pass through such small holes, they can only burn on the outside of the flame retardant tube, and can not reach the inner side through the flame retardant tube.
If the temperature of oxyhydrogen flame is very high and the oxyhydrogen gas is not cut off timely,oxyhydrogen flame burns on the outer side of the flame retardant tube for a long time. When the temperature of the flame retardant tube is heated to over 500 degrees, It will automatically ignite the oxyhydrogen gas on the inner of the flame retartant tube,which reduces the performance of the anti-backfire device.
A dry type anti-backfire device can prevent oxyhydrogen flame backfire in most cases. Combined with a wet type anti-backfire device and a high-pressure escape valve, it can effectively prevent backfire situations.
Wet type anti-backfire, also known as water sealed anti-backfire. Hydrogen and oxygen emerge from the bottom of the water to avoid the backfire situation.The flame generated by the backfire is shrouded on the water surface and cannot enter the outlet pipe backwards to extinguish the fire.
